Effective 22 August 2026
Terms of Service.
Agreement
These terms cover your use of anserolive, operated by anserolive. Creating an account means you accept them.
What the service does
anserolive answers calls to phone numbers we rent to you, holds a conversation using the script you configure, and gives you a written record and a summary of each call. It emails you when a call finishes.
It is software, not a person. It can mishear, misunderstand, or fail to reach a caller's intent. You are responsible for reviewing what it records before acting on it, and for any decision you make on the strength of a summary.
Your responsibilities
You are the one whose business is answering the phone, so:
- Call recording is your call to make. We announce the recording at the start of every call by default, and we strongly advise leaving that on. Several states require every party to consent. If you turn it off, you take on the legal consequences of doing so.
- You confirm you have the right to contact the people in any property records you import, and to hold their details.
- You will not use the service for unlawful calling, harassment, or anything that would breach telecoms regulation in the places you operate.
- You are responsible for what your configured script tells callers.
Plans, minutes and billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance and include a set number of answered minutes.
- Minutes are measured on connected call time and reset each billing period. Unused minutes do not carry over.
- Minutes beyond your plan are billed at your plan's overage rate, added to your next invoice.
- Each phone number carries its own monthly charge for as long as you keep it.
- Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your billing settings. Service continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months. Phone numbers are released when the account closes and cannot be recovered afterwards, so port them out first if you want to keep them.
Availability
We work to keep the service up but do not promise uninterrupted answering. It depends on third parties, including telephone carriers, that we do not control. It is not an emergency service and must never be relied on for urgent or life-safety calls.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost business, lost profit, or a missed opportunity arising from a call the service handled, mishandled, or failed to answer.
Suspension
We may suspend an account for non-payment, for use that breaks these terms, or where continuing would place us in breach of a carrier's rules. Where we can, we will tell you first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
